Support for Families

Support for Families

At Honeywell Primary School, we work closely with our parents to support their children and wider family. We appreciate that at times, life can be challenging and we are keen to work with you in order to ease these difficult times.

At Honeywell Primary School, we have our very own Child and Family Support Worker - Danielle Morris. Mrs Morris has her own dedicated family room in school, which offers a safe and private place to chat. She is also more than happy to come to your family home for meetings, if this is what you would prefer. You can contact Mrs Morris by calling the school office (01905 423228), popping by or sending her an email (familysupport@metacademies.org.uk).

Early Help for Families

Early Help means providing help and support when a family is in need of some additional support or facing difficulties which are hard to manage. School works alongside families to access the right support at the right time. We work together to make decisions. This can be at any point in a child or young person's life, from birth right the way through to 18 years of age (25 years of age for some SEND children) and more than once, as we know children's needs change as they grow, and their family circumstances change.

Through working together, accessing different support, we hope to prevent the challenges increasing and to help children and their families thrive.
