Friends of Honeywell is our school parents and teachers association. They are a group of parents/carers and staff who work hard to organise and run different events and activities for the children in order to raise funds for the school. Events they organise  include Disco's, Film Clubs, Fete's and Raffles. They also provide refreshments and support during such events as Sports Day's, Performances and Open Days. Some of the items they fund would otherwise not be possible to purchase as school funds do not always cover everything. Their work is entirely voluntary and always very much appreciated.

Previous FoH funds raised have provided:

• A defibrillator for the new first aid station
• Games and equipment for the new THRIVE area
• A theatre group performance of a Pantomime in school
• Gazebo's for the outside areas
• A bowling party for the 98% attenders
• Transport for the Year 6 leavers trip
• Outdoor play equipment
• Forest school equipment
• New DJ equipment

Over the coming months they are hoping to be able to provide funds to renovate the KS1 playground, to purchase new picnic benches and blankets for the KS2 area and they would like to be able to help out more with trips and the basic tools and equipment for the children.

They are really in need of new members to help them to organise and help out at the events and activities they have planned.

If you feel you can be part of any of these FoH events or can help in any way, if you have skills you would like to improve on, or if you just want some experience then please speak to any of the members. We value any help and ideas for future events.
